SUMMARY:Hard cover stab binding class
DESCRIPTION:Stab binding is one of the simplest and earliest forms of bookbinding\, using single sheets in which holes are stabbed or drilled and sewn on the outside using a variety of traditional stitch patterns. \nIn this class you will learn how to make a hard cover with a hinge\, and create the decorative binding. \nThis class will run for two weeks on Tuesday evenings\, December 8 and 15\, from 7 to 9pm. \nAll materials are provided\, including paper\, and you will leave the class with a finished book. We will be wrapping our cover boards in paper and will have a selection of decorative papers for you to choose from\, but if you would like to bring your own special paper to use\, feel free! Just remember to ask us about size requirements when you sign up. \nLimited to 6 participants. To secure your spot in the class\, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required. Register in person at Levigator Press or call 519-991-4972. \nClass prices are subject to HST.
