SUMMARY:Longstitch bookbinding with hard cover (2 week class)
DESCRIPTION:This variation on our German Longstitch bookbinding class will show you how to make a beautiful hard cover book with exposed stitching along the outside of the spine. You will create a hinged cover using binder’s board\, quarter bound with bookcloth and decorative paper. We have several colours of bookcloth and a wide variety of hand printed\, marbled\, and paste papers for you to choose from to make your book one of a kind. \nThe class runs for two weeks on Friday afternoons\, September 13 & 20\, from 1-3:30pm. \nNo bookbinding experience is necessary. All materials are provided\, and you will leave the class with a finished book. \nSpace in the class is limited. To secure your spot in the class\, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required.
