SUMMARY:Reductive colour woodcut (4 week class)
DESCRIPTION:Reductive woodcut is a full colour printing method in which each successive layer of colour is carved and printed from a single sheet of wood. In this four-session class you will design and create an edition of six woodblock prints using up to four separate colours. This is a fast paced class and we will get right into carving our blocks on the first day\, so you should come prepared with an idea or a drawing for an 8×10 inch block. \nThis class runs Tuesday evenings for four weeks: May 2\, 9\, 16\, and 23\, from 6:30-9:30pm. \nNo printmaking experience is necessary. \nAll materials\, including paper\, are provided. \nSpace in the class is limited. To secure your spot in the class\, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required.
