In this class you will learn the basics of how to create a silkscreen for printing your own design on your choice of t-shirts or tea towels. The first week will focus on creating your design, and you will learn how to make silk screen positives. In the second week you will expose a screen and print your shirts or towels with your own one-colour design.
This class runs for two weeks on Saturday afternoons, April 22 and 29, from 1-4pm.
Three cotton tea towel blanks OR three blank t-shirts are provided as part of the class, and you are welcome to bring one or two of your own additional towels, or a t-shirt, if you’d like to make a few extra prints.
