In this class you will create an elegant, fully lined zippered fabric pouch appropriate for toting around your drawing tools, toiletries, your collection of cool pebbles, or whatever objects in your life need a pouch to hold them! You will learn how to install a zipper and lining, as well as basic sewing skills to construct a one-of-a-kind, professionally finished little bag.
Zippers and fabric will be provided and we will have a wide selection of fabrics for you to choose from, but you may feel free to bring your own special fabric if you prefer. This would be a fantastic class to pair with our Block Print on Fabric class (June 8) if you want to create your own unique fabric for your pouch; we’ll be happy to give you a 15% discount on both classes if you register for them at the same time! Some sewing experience is a bonus but not necessary.
