On Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 25, Levigator Press will be taking part in our neighbourhood’s annual street festival, Walkerville Art, Walk, & Rock. Wyandotte Street will be closed from Gladstone to Argyle, with bands playing in the street, artist booths in the Jubilee Parkette, the Luv Local art market at the Walkerville Brewery, live mural painting, and more! The fun starts at 5pm on Friday and doesn’t stop until we’re all completely exhausted on Saturday night. It’s definitely not to be missed.
At the Levigator Press studio, we’ll be printing up a storm giving demos all day long in letterpress, screen printing, block printing, and maybe a few other surprises. If you show up during a demo with your own t-shirt, we’ll put whatever we happen to be printing at the time on it, for free! Depending on how busy it gets, you can even pull a print yourself. Come see what we’re all about, learn about printmaking, get your hands dirty, and enter our draw to win a fun prize from our studio!
We’ll also be debuting some new lines of hand printed stationery and clothing out on the sidewalk, where we’re super excited to be joined by Culture Shock Jewellery!
