The staff for Up The Mesh Count have been in the studio printing up covers for the project zine. Here they are all chilling in the drying rack after a long day of printing. They look pretty rad, and they glow in the dark!

Up The Mesh Count is funded by Ontario Arts Council and the City of Windsor Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

These fun 5-colour bicycle screenprints are new in the shop in four different versions. It’s a very limited run, so come grab one soon!
Last night’s students printing their first and second colours:

Levigator Press opened its doors one year ago today! Thanks so much to all of our amazing friends who helped us to get this far.
No festivities today, but join us this Saturday, March 19 from 1-4pm for a free colouring party and snacks! We’ll have some new colouring pages made up to give away, and you can use our stuff or bring your own!
We had so much fun in this class. The students hand stamped designs on their shirts using woodblocks, linoleum blocks, rubber stamps, wood type, and letterpress ornaments. Have a look at their amazing shirts:

Here’s a fun set of fancy screenprinted frames I just printed the third colour on. They’re for an upcoming show in June, and will have formal portraits of some characters from Surprise Party In The Snow in them. These are printed in four different colourways and there will be three more different frame designs, so, lots of variations!

Today we printed up some sample t-shirts for our upcoming t-shirt printing workshop, using a limited colour palette and small hand carved linoleum blocks. I did the triangles design on the white shirt, and my co-op student Aiyana did the blue shirt with the fun bird character.

Today we had another student drop by to make some paper relief monoprints. She used a combination of die cut paper designs and hand cut pieces to come up with some lovely layers. Here are just a few of her prints:

My co-op student Aiyana got involved too, and made her first monoprint:

Printed up a small series of t-shirts (classic cut in bright red, curvy cut in heathered red) with our Rat King design!

Here are a few prints from tonight’s fun class:
