Just added: Sew a messenger bag class!

Our class schedule for September and October is pretty much full, but we’ve squeezed in one more fun one: Christine Chenier of Saint Flamingo will be bringing us her Messenger Bag class once again! Class details are here: SEW A MESSENGER BAG

Since this is a late addition, we’re offering a limited time 15% discount on this class if you sign up before the end of this weekend. To get the special price you must register, with a 30% deposit, by Sunday, September 13 at 10:00pm. We’re open Friday from 11 to 5 and Saturday 11 to 6; we’re closed Sunday, but you can still register by sending an e-transfer payment to print@levigatorpress.ca. Or give us a call!

MEND series: sew a button

mendbutton

Here are the buttons we sewed on in class today! We’ll run this class again in the fall, because it’s an important skill and we know you want to learn it. It covers the basics of sewing a flat button, a discussion of different methods to keep buttons from falling off, and how to make a longer thread shank for thicker fabric.
