chandler & price bench cutter
Last week we reassembled a hundred-year-old Chandler & Price bench cutter that has been sitting in pieces in our basement for a few years now, just waiting for some love, rust paint and a bit of oil to bring it back to working condition. I put one of the blades in it a few days ago and was delighted to find that it’s still perfectly sharp. No more trimming books by hand in the Levigator Press studio!
Here is a little video of the first cuts. I’m a little excited about it.
Hi, My name is Bev and I got your name from Roger at Juniper books. I’m interested in taking your classes especially the wood class. I will try to give you a call in the next few days. What a cutter you have.. I have used pone and they are great and such a time saver. Bev
“Beauty…This machine is going to change my life” 😀
Must admit I’m geeking out just as much. What a great piece of equipment. (and it’s fun to watch you work)
