Levigator Press is going on vacation!
Levigator Press will be closed for summer vacation from Sunday, July 26 to Sunday, August 9, to recharge our batteries and get ready for fall classes and printing! We’ll be open this weekend for the Walkerville Art Walk & Rock event, though, so you still have time to get your Levigator Press fix before we head out.
Leave us a comment here and tell us what YOU’RE doing for summer vacation, and when we get back we’ll randomly choose one commenter to receive a free workshop (limited to locals) or a Levigator Press tote bag (for those who can’t get here for a class). Please be sure and tell us in your comment whether or not you are local, so we know which hat to throw your name into!
While we’re away, you can still register for any of the classes we have currently listed. We can accept your deposit via e-transfer or Paypal to secure your spot in a class! Find details at the bottom of each class listing. We’re already starting to sign people up, so it’s a good idea to get your name in there early. We don’t want you to miss out!

For my summer vacation I will be. After I be for a while, I will travl to points east of home. and I am not local to Levigator Press, alas.
This summer we are staycationing in London. We are planning a lot of nature walks, sidewalk chalk inspirations for others and geo-caching! Along with 1 night in Niagara Falls at Great Wolf Lodge.
For my summer vacation i will be finally taking drivers ed, researching for my thesis, and printing up a storm to work on my skills for my print minor. Did I mention that I plan to attempt to process raw sheep wool and make my own felt? Cheers to art making! and experimenting with finer! 🙂
I’ll be working most of the summer. Spending a week and a bit in Michigan right now. Knitting lots, making and drinking beer. You know, my usual thing. Just sweating my tits off while doing it.
I bought a 6×10 trailer and converted to a camper and will be taking Aug 3 for a week up north for my first week. I’m taking some books to sew and just going to enjoy the beach i have missed so much and an area I love. Hope your vacation is fun. This is a dream coming true.
This hasn’t been my most action packed summer, but I’ve spent lots of time with friends and family, and really there’s nothing else I’d rater be doing! Best activity to date was riding an inner tube attached to my uncles boat with my little cousin. She hung on… I couldn’t, and crashed magnificently into the Detroit river. When I returned to shore I was greeted by fans of my tidal wave. (I’m local!)
